As some of you know, I'm currently an undergraduate studying Computer Science. As such, this month contains all my final examinations. Unfortunately, because of this I will not be able to be online much both in-game and on Ventrilo.
On top of what I am sure is already very saddening news, I will have to deal another heartbreaking blow. The plugins that I've been developing (The "shop" plugin [different than DynamicMarket, as it allows players to run their own shops], the Voting Rewards plugin, and the Subway revamp) have to be put on hiatus until I finish my exams.
As much as I love Timgaming *cough*, my schoolwork has to come first.
You'll more than likely see me around for a few minutes here and there, but nothing substantial.
The 1.2.5 update is here, do not update we are not running the new version.
UPDATE: Most people seem to have updated without any issues. I'd save a backup, but feel free to update. This is mostly a bug fix update but did tweak:
Shift clicking now works for furnaces
Cats sit on things less often but are less patient
Stacks of bowls are not all consumed when used on Mooshrooms
So, I'm currently in the midst of updating the Subway Plugin... And by updating I mean completely rewriting my original version.
What this means to the players is that everything will become much more streamlined including more informative notifications as to where you're headed, etc. It'll also mean for us easier generation of subways as we'll be able to automatically create as many as we want and have them hook up seamlessly.
However, there is a downside:
Because of the inherent inaccuracy of humans, some of the current subways are not exactly 1000 blocks away from each other. This is bad for me, because automatic generation will put them at the exact position they should be.
What this means for you is: If you have a home that is "near" (Probably 5-10 blocks in any given direction) from a subway, there is a possibility it may be taken out by the automatic generation of the new one.
This sucks, but it's something that can't be helped....
