    A whole new experience to survival minecraft!
    An inspiration project from GameMode4, but for plugin servers.

    Beyond Minecraft introduces new aspects to survival minecraft to not only increase difficulty in the game, but to introduce new aspects to explore from new crafting recipes, World Crafting, new mobs, bosses and various other new things!

    This thread will include updated information on the project at hand! Please refer to the next post for information about current "modules" in the plugin and their status on their development.

    For more detailed information about any current "modules" in Beyond Minecraft, please reference the wiki for this information.


    Q: What is Beyond Minecraft?
    A:Beyond Minecraft is a spigot / bukkit plugin that introduces new aspects to survival minecraft in a way that would seem like modded minecraft.

    Q: GameMode4 was mentioned, whats that?
    A:Game Mode 4 is command block based that does essentially some of the items listed. Such as soul probes, custom bosses, etc. But they can be server intensive and they DO NOT play well with spigot/bukkit servers. This plugin Beyond Minecraft takes some inspiration from GM4 and expands from that! So there are some similar "modules" but grand changes/updates to them, as well as new stuff too!

    Q: What is a module?
    A: A module is a section of the plugin that includes a specific feature of BeyondMC. Such as for example. Thief Skeletons would be 1 module and Rabid wolves be another module.

    Added the Witherless Rose, this item is craftable and will negate all wither effects and damage (specific to the wither status effect), as long as it is in your inventory!

    Note: This is considered an "end game" item, this means the recipe will be considerably expensive, as the effects are permanent as long as you have the item within your inventory.

    Requirements to use:
    • Have the Witherless Rose within your inventory (anywhere!)
      • This will give the ability of being immune to the wither effect
    In order to craft a Witherless Rose you need the following materials
    • x4 Glowing Water
    • x2 Nether Stars
    • x2 Wither Skeleton Skulls
    • x1 Poppy
    In this shape recipe

    To make glowing water you need
    • x4 Glowstone Dust
    • x1 Water Bottle
    In this shape recipe

    Known Issues:
    • Using Glowing Water in a brewing stand will not yield increased effects or duration but instead will yield a mundane potion or a thick potion

    Added AbandonedMule module.

    This gives a random configurable chance that a Mule will spawn in the world with a saddle and chest.

    Once tamed this Mule will allow you to not only ride but also access its inventory!

    This inventory has a random chance of having loot in each slot!

    % Chance each slot would be a loot item, and a separate % chance that it would be rare loot!

    The MoreMobHeads I have temporarily disabled it. I found something interesting I am going to be doing. This would involve the use of more mob heads and such. Its an interesting trick I learned. :D

    So with some issues for 1.12 breaking a few things. I decided the BeyondMinecraft project will probably be a multi plugin deal with a BMC-Core plugin. This way if a module breaks it wont be the whole plugin. Also any and all NMS will be handled by the core file that way when a new version is out. I ONLY have to update that one plugin so the others will work. (future proofing).

    The one thing I would love to be able to do if it was possible is the core plugins folder would have a folder called addons which you put the plugins in and it would run them there. keeping them in their own area and the configs stored elsewhere. BUT idk if thats even possible. (atm)

    More Planned Ideas

    Custom Structures, Some just for looks, some have loot, some have spawners with loot, Will also be looking into more "technical biome" like deals. Kinda like how witch hut and ocean monuments are.

    Added Fate Cubes: Essentially chance cubes but called fate cubes! They have a random chance for anything to happen from bad or good. random crap to random gold! Diamonds or a wither! who knows!?!

    Currently only obtainable via command, Looking to have it in loot chests as well!

    The fate cube is essentially a specialized chest, As soon as its opened or broken it activates!

    So with that, Do not put it in or near your base(s) or anything important >:}


    Removed a few NMS dependencies, The only modules that are nms dependent now is Low Health Red Tint (Red Aura) and Fire causes creepers to explode.

    Module Idea: Future Note
    This idea was already put out there. Just throwing ideas in a list atm (for later)

    Please note that this is all subject to change.

    Please note that there are rules for bindings to where certain ones cant be stack with certain ones, That will be determined later..

    Armor Bindings
    • Binding of Undying (Chestplate)
      • This is done with a totem of undying in the Binding recipe with the armor, this makes it so the armor piece (chestplate) will have 1 charge per totem charged with (up to x number yet determined) This will save you from death and take away a charge (same as totem in hand)
    • Binding of Fiery (Chestplate)
      • Much like thorns but instead of thorns it sets the attacker on fire for x second(s) (not yet determined time/dmg)
    • Binding of Speed (Leggings)
      • Gives speed 1 to the player
    • Binding of Jumping (Leggings)
      • Gives Jump Boost 1 to the player
    • Binding of Flight (Chestplate)
      • Gives player fly (This will have certain restrictions to, such as exp consumption over time, 0 exp = no flight)
    • Binding of NightVision (Helmet)
      • Gives player night vision
    • Binding of Saturation (Helmet)
      • Auto Feeds Player, Requires EXP, exp drains over time. 0 exp = no auto feed

    Custom Enchant/Binding ideas
    • Beheading
      • Chance that mob drops their respective head
    • Fiery
      • (Armor enchant) Mobs that attack player catch fire
    • Soul Bound
      • Item not lost in death
    • Shulking
      • Mobs hit with a weapon enchanted with this effect will receive the floating status effect.
    • Necrotic
      • Life stealing
    • Bilethorn
      • Your attacks deal poison damage
    • Vorpal
      • Increased critical hit chance
    • Terror
      • Causes weakness on foes, increases to foes by 3%
    • Frost
      • Your attacks cause slowness to mobs

    Prefixes (Effect on Loot, Armor/weapon & Armor/weapon Rating, If they have a suffix, what rating of that suffix (level of effect) etc)

    Spawner Minecraft:

    fixed - Putting the minecart spawner as a spawner again, resets the spawner to pig (more than likely happened after 1.12.1 update)...

    - Also need to make it a more end game thing. spawner carts are to be only creatable from base spawners, and upgraded to the other mob types which will be expensive recipes.
    - Potentially will be adding a "Dark Aura" effect around the "Enraged <mobType> Spawner" essentially causing things like nausea or blindness when near the spawner.
    - Make it so spawner minecart mobs dont drop loot??? Prevent farms from enraged spawner mobs.
    - Maybe make enrage spawner mobs have a small chance to drop "Enraged Essence" instead? Used for a recipe.
    - When a spawner is upgraded, it can not be turned into a minecart spawner, it has to be downgraded to a base spawner (zombie, skeleton, spider, cave spider, blaze, silverfish) <- Vanilla Natural Generated Spawner (This would be done with spawn eggs that are crafted or obtained via loot some how)

    Other Notes:
    - The idea is to prevent the spawners from being so overpowered in transportation and farms, it needs to be more end game and thought actually put into a more permanent location, rather than being able to move it whenever you want. As well making it more difficult to get the better upgraded spawners (e.g. wither skeleton, witch, ghast, etc)
    - The upgrades would require some immense materials, such as a spawn egg crafted, nether stars, etc (maybe even that idea of "Enraged Essence"? or similar custom essence items that are difficult to get, perhaps from legendary mobs? or epic mobs?


    Adjusted Armor Recipes

    Make it so to get each tier armor you have to craft the previous tier in the new tier recipe

    for example for diamond boots you do the recipe and add the iron boots in the recipe.

    - Maybe make it so you can carry over enchants if you use an "Infused Essence" in the recipe ??

    Thought about this for different tiers of mobs

    Vet's and down are normal loot, while champions drop rarest loot, wither skeles would be their skull. zombies, skele, etc their heads as well.

    Legendary's drop legendary loot. Such as fully enchanted armor pieces, specifically diamond. These can have multiple enchants based on their stats.

    Epic very similar to legendary's but would have special custom enchants or "bindings" such as anti withering, or anti-venom, etc. They also have a chance for dropping "ethereal essence" or various other special items, specifically for special items to craft for other stuff. such as potions, spawner upgrades, etc etc etc..

    just some notes/ideas....
